Kathryn Kellner trained as a performer, earning a BFA in acting and directing from the University of Arizona with continued study at the Royal National Theatre Studio in London. In 1991 she began teaching that discipline to people who never chose a stage: scientists, surgeons, executives, and the people whose stage is a courtroom, a classroom, or a boardroom.
In 1999 she walked into the Pima County Attorney's Office, and the work changed. She watched a young prosecutor who knew the law cold lose her place in an opening statement, because no one had ever taught her the instrument that delivers it.
A courtroom does something no other room in America does. It decides. From that observation Kathryn built a body of work around one reframe: jurors are learners, a trial is their classroom, and the attorney is their teacher. Breath, stance, focus, and voice become tools an advocate can name, choose, and repeat. Not a personality. A discipline.
She has worked hundreds of cases gavel to gavel, including capital and homicide trials, and has observed and coached thousands of attorneys in trial. She has worked both tables of the courtroom: prosecution and defense, criminal and civil. Today she serves county attorney offices across Arizona, coaches executives and researchers, and delivers keynotes for legal and business audiences nationwide.
That work became the Entend Method, developed over thirty-five years of courtroom and studio practice, codified in a 66 term canon, more than 135 video lessons, and Entend, the AI coach built on her exact framework.
