The hour: forty-five minutes of teaching from the method Kathryn has built over thirty-five years of courtroom and studio practice, and a look at how the work continues after the hour ends.

What the hour covers

  1. Why jury selection changed: the reform map, from Washington's rule to Arizona's outright elimination of peremptory strikes.
  2. The reframe at the center of the method: jurors are learners, trial is their classroom, and the attorney is their teacher.
  3. The instrument that delivers your case: breath, voice, body, and focus as tools you can name, choose, and repeat.
  4. Voir dire as conversation: observation, follow-up questions that reveal habits and patterns, and a measured pace that resists feeling rushed.

Every registrant receives the written materials and the recording. Attorneys in self-reporting jurisdictions can submit the hour through their own state's process; the materials support your application.

One boundary, always: the hour teaches how a room communicates. It never predicts what a jury will decide.
