About Kathryn

Thirty-five years where communication carries consequence.

Kathryn Kellner trained as a performer: a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and directing from the University of Arizona, with continued study at the Royal National Theatre Studio in London. In 1991 she began translating that discipline for people whose stage is a courtroom, a classroom, or a boardroom.

Since 1999 she has worked inside the Pima County Attorney's Office, training incoming classes of trial attorneys and consulting on hundreds of cases, including capital and homicide trials. Today she serves county attorney offices across Arizona, coaches executives and researchers, and delivers keynotes for legal and business audiences nationwide.

Her methodology is codified in a 66 term canon, more than 135 video lessons, and Entend, the AI coach built on her exact framework.

What formats does Kathryn offer?

Conference keynotes and general sessions, CLE presentations with written materials, half day and full day training workshops, multi day office programs, firm retreat sessions, and private case consultation including jury selection support.

Does she travel? Where is she based?

Kathryn is based in Tucson, Arizona and speaks and trains nationwide, with international engagements by arrangement. Virtual sessions are available for select formats.

How does CLE credit work?

Accreditation belongs to your program, and Kathryn is built to make it easy. Her sessions are designed to meet MCLE content standards, and every one ships with the substantive written materials your application requires, delivered well before your deadline. Hosts file through their own state process and she provides whatever the form asks for. In Arizona, attorneys self report their hours and no provider approval exists.

Can she train our whole office?

Yes. Office engagements range from a single hands on training day to annual programs that combine quarterly training, trial observation with written feedback, and an Entend license for every attorney. Engagements are structured with public office procurement and budgets in mind.

Is this jury consulting?

Kathryn provides case consultation and jury selection support grounded in communication, and she trains attorneys to do the reading themselves. One boundary is absolute: her work describes how people communicate. It never predicts a verdict or scores a person.

How far in advance should we book?

Conference committees typically book nine to eighteen months out. Office trainings and firm sessions can often be scheduled within the quarter. If your date is close, ask anyway.
